In this render, I've added a more colourful texture, lightened up the key and fill lights, and tossed about more of the floral tea..

So..I've somehow bitten off more than I can chew.

After creating just a few assets, I got a little carried away.

I'll be focusing on scaling back to the basics again.

After a few hours drooling over Anna William's food photography portfolio, I've finally made up my mind.  I'm going to concentrate on a simple layout of fresh goodies as in most of her photos.  And I'd like to render two final compositions - one light and one dark...

Thanks to Catherine Hervey, a small group of us lucky little vizzers will embark on an independent study focused on Rendering and Shading.  She proposed our projects focus on the age-old question: "What will you request as your last meal?"

My mind easily wanders...
slimy bottom feeders and tentacled delights, bleeding red meats and little slabs of raw fish, roast game fowl from the day's hunt...fruits so ripe juices run down my neck with every bite...

..hm..dribbled in home made cranberry sauce and honey..
